Chapter 6

Expansion

Current ideas for an expansion. These may end up being integrated in the base game as modules.

Lost Relics:

  • Replace all knights with unique (for the player) components (2 copies of each per player). This allows each knight to be differentiated. Something needed for equipment.
  • Add one more location to each tribe. It’s a dungeon-like location, guarded by a non-player faction. Each season, draw cards to determine what guards the dungeon and what equipment is available.
  • Equipment provides a passive for a single knight. Put a copy of the knight on it to know which knight has what equipment. At most 1 equipment per knight.

Events:

  • Remove the location of interest marker.
  • Remove the round counter.
  • A new board tracks the rounds. It has 8 slots for cards.
  • There are 3 decks of cards containing events. 1 per tribe. Events are the replacement for location of interest: instead of it always being the same effect, it varies.
  • During setup, draw 8 cards to fit on the board. Only the left-most event is active.
  • Remove the left-most card at the end of the season, during cleanup.
  • The 8 cards should be of different tribes, in a sequence (Tribe A, Tribe B, Tribe C, Tribe A, Tribe B, Tribe C, Tribe A, Tribe B).
